Who is Mrs. Rudolph?
She's the artist formerly known as Miss Turner!
Well… my educational background is somewhat interesting. I graduated from Stagg High School back in 1995 and went to Moraine Valley Community College for 2 years because I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my life. After 2 years, I transferred to Northern Illinois University and completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Deafness Rehabilitation Counseling. I worked as a Social Services Director at a local nursing home facility and then became involved with the Early Intervention Program in Illinois. I worked with children ages birth to 3 years old with developmental delays and their families. After some time, I decided that I wanted to become a teacher. I found a wonderful program at Saint Xavier University and received my teaching degree along with my Masters in Education. I was fortunate to student teach here in District 118 at Palos East. After completing my student teaching experience in 4th grade, I applied for a job in the district. I taught 5th grade for 11 years over at Palos East. After much consideration, I decided it was time for change, so I asked to be transferred to Palos South. Last year I taught 6th grade Language Arts and Social Studies. This year I am teaching 8th grade Language Arts and Social Studies.
I also coach the 7th grade boys' volleyball team.
