Mrs. Jennifer Peloquin-Biel

Assistant Principal

 Mrs. Peloquin Biel serves as the Principal of Palos West. Prior to this role, Jennifer was a Supervisor of Clinical Experiences working with student teachers through University of Illinois for 2 years. She was also Assistant Principal of Palos West for three years. Prior to her administrative duties, she was a teacher and taught various grade levels for ten years, with several of those years teaching here at Palos West. Mrs. Peloquin Biel has grown as an educator in District 118 and is dedicated to the students, staff, and community. 

Jennifer received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Eastern Illinois University, a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Indiana Wesleyan, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Francis.

Jennifer is proud to work at Palos West Elementary. Her main goal is to provide support to students, staff, and parents to achieve success both academic and social-emotional success. She works collaboratively with her colleagues to provide students with a rigorous curriculum, differentiated instruction, positive behavior supports, and a safe learning environment. 

Ms. White has served as assistant principal at Palos south middle school, a classroom teacher, art teacher and library media specialist in 118 over the last 10 years . Ms. White is honored to continue her growth as a 118 administrator in the role of assistant principal at Palos West.  Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Saint Xavier University, a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Dominican University and a second Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Saint Francis University. 

Ms. White will be collaborating with Mrs. Peloquin-Biel to ensure that every student receives a challenging and quality education, and has a positive educational experience. She embraces a sharing and collaborative school culture that takes risks in an effort to do great things.  Ms. White looks forward to taking an active role in the learning community to support and encourage high expectations and a safe school environment.
