Hello, my name is Bonnie Fanelli and I am a part-time speech/language pathologist working at Palos East School. I began as a student speech/language therapist at Palos East School in 2001 and have worked full time or part time for the Palos District 118 most years since. I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to work with students at all three schools (East, South, and West) and all ages preschool through eighth grade. I’ve also had the privilege of servicing speech/language students that attend Koraes Greek School.
I obtained my undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and my Masters from Saint Xavier University. I maintain a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and licensure with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation. I also am an active member of the American Speech/Language Hearing Association (ASHA), Illinois Speech/Language Hearing Association (ISHA), and the South Cook County Speech Hearing Language Associations (SHLA).
Outside of Palos East, I enjoy spending time with my three school aged children and husband, attending their numerous sport and school activities, and getting outdoors myself to run or exercise.
Be sure to check out our speech/language links for further information regarding speech/language development.
I’m looking forward to a fantastic school year and working with my students and their families!
