I have enjoyed being part of the District 118 community both professionally and personally. I have worked in all three district schools over the past 13 years primarily servicing both Palos West and Palos East. I am excited to join the Palos East family on a full time basis for the 2011- 2012 school year. I enjoy working with children of all ages!
My husband and I have been residents of Palos Park for the past 22 years. My daughter is a graduate of both District 118 and District 230 and received a bachelor’s degree in music and psychology in June of 2011 from Northwestern University in Evanston. She will continue her education at the University of Illinois pursuing a master’s degree in Social Work.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree from St. Xavier University and my Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Governor’s State University. Prior to receiving my Master’s Degree I was an elementary school teacher for several years. I hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence and maintain professional membership in the following organizations: American Speech Language Hearing Association, the Illinois Speech Language Hearing Association, and the South Cook County Speech Hearing and Language Association. At present I am serving as the President of the South Cook Speech Language Hearing Association.
