What is Applied Technology?
Applied technology is hands-on, project based, cooperative learning that focuses on enrichment of mathematics, science, and technology.
Each of our modular systems encourages students to take ownership of their learning and empowers teachers to facilitate a classroom unlike any other.
How are points earned?
Each module has a total of 420 points.
Each session that students complete, they earn 10 attendance and 10 participation points. 20 points a day x 7 sessions = 140 total points
On session 2, 3, 4, and 5 students complete RCA’s (Research, Challenge, Application) work 30 points each day x 4 sessions = 120 total points
Students complete three assessments on different days each worth 20 points. 3 assessments x 20 points = 60 points
On session 7 students complete a post test worth 100 points. 1 post test x 100 points = 100 points
